The construction of most products is from Western Red Cedar.  Cedar is a wood that is notoriously disliked by most bugs.  As a result it is an excellent choice for all outdoor products.  Since the products are designed to be outside where rusting of the hardware can be an issue, we use all stainless steel screw, bolts and nuts to eliminate those ugly rust stains on the wood.

All joints are both glued with an exterior construction adhesive and screwed with those stainless steel screws.  All surfaces are sanded to a smooth finish and the exterior edges are all rounded over to give a finished look and feel.  At the request of the purchaser the items may be finished or left unfinished (add 10% for a coat of finish).
